Cloth pads?

Question

Anyone here use cloth pads while on their period? If so why do you like them? And how do you keep them free of stains. I’m not really a pad person but I am open to the idea.

I use period panties. LOVE THEM. If they stain, I’ll throw them on the clothes line in the sun to bleach out the stain. We have a cheap portable and easy to break down line from amazon. 
The pads make me a little nervous but I use cloth diapers on my babes so I think it’s similar. I’m interested to hear what others have to say.

I use them and have for 3 years. I rinse them in cold water then they go in a wet bag until I wash them. They don't stain.
They're so much comfier than plastic, and they don't smell.

I use cloth pads the absorbent part is like made of bamboo cloth and it's a dark color and I just throw them in the washer and they're fine. I don't wear them to work though because I'm a nurse and can't always go to the bathroom often, sometimes its just once in a 12 hour shift so at work I use regular pads along with a tampon so I can go the longest amount I can without leaks
