COVID-19 & your period
Hey ladies!
I was wondering if anyone’s had this issue. There’s a couple studies posted regarding it, but since we know so little about Covid there’s not a lot of information.
I tested positive for Covid at the end of December but luckily I made a quick recovery.
I had a period right before I tested positive for Covid and my period was 3 days long which isn’t too out of the ordinary because mine are usually 4-5 days so I figured it was just really short.
But fast forward to today I’m 2 weeks late when I’m usually incredibly regular. I start the same day exactly.
I keep pregnancy testing but I’m getting negative after negative. I don’t have any pain, my breast are sore and I feel like I have waves of PMS but then they fade.
I have two other children so I remember how being pregnant feels and I do feel very similar, but then again the fatigue and aches from COVID can last months after you’ve recovered so it could just be that. So I’ve seen some studies that Covid can effect your period, and I was just curious if anyone else has experienced this?
Thank you in advance!
