Do bigger kids take naps

Question

Do kids still nap at 5 years old how do you get them to sleep?
How about ages 6-8 do they nap

They recommend naps to be phased out by kindergarten since it’s typically full day and they don’t offer nap time at school.

In spain everybody naps, adults included.

Mine did! They had a half day kindergarten program, so they came home and ate lunch, then took a nap for a couple of hours. It was great. 
If they didn’t have a half day kindergarten, I would’ve phased out naps the summer before.
My kids also had/have an 8 pm bedtime. They wake at 6 during a typical school year. They get lots of sleep, lol.

My daughter is 2.5 and only naps around 50% of the time now.

My 4 year old stop naps at 3 ! He’s 5 now and if he naps at all he’s up after the night

The occasional nap is fine at that age...I still love a good nap every now and then!
But at that age, they shouldn’t be needing a nap every day

I wish my 5 year old would take a nap lol. She dropped naps around 2. Got all her sleep at night.

My son is not quite 2.5 years.  He dropped his nap at about 25 months.  I wish he would nap still but it makes bedtime so much harder.  He is actually better behaved without the nap.
