Nursing strike???

My baby is 7 weeks and we just learned how to nurse without shields and it’s been going good ever since occasionally I’ll give him bottle of breast milk to make sure he’s topped off or when we’re out I have formula since I was supplementing for his weight. Just yesterday he’s been crying when I put him to breast. He’ll eat good in th morning without crying then when I try to nurse him again get latches then pulls away and screaming bloody murder! Is this a nursing strike? Is this temporary or will I have to give up breastfeeding completely😢 what can I do to get him back on breast🥺
