Just sharing my experience. When my husband and I were unable to conceive after trying for a while, I bought a sperm test kit with a microscope and could tell his count was clearly low. We went to a urologist for a semen analysis and once those results were back, his count was confirmed to be really low so we were referred to a fertility clinic. In my opinion, it’s usually easier to check the male first. We went on to do IVF and have a son from the first cycle. Currently going through FETs for our second now.
