Hi ladies,

I saw my obgyn today at 39w4d. I am 50% effaced and 1,5 cm dilated (small progress compared to last week, when I was 0% effaced and 1 cm dilated).

I am measuring 36,5 and I haven’t gained weight in 3 weeks. Because of that, my doctor has ordered a growth scan tomorrow morning. Have any of you dealt with a situation like that before? This is my third baby and I’ve never experienced anything like that. Usually I gain a lot during the last weeks.

Should I mentally prepare for an induction/csection? Will I have a choice between the two and what would you chose? I was induced with my first and it was a very painful experience.
