Tubes removed, IVF

My doctor finally called me today. My left tube is filled with fluid, and my right one is completely blocked. The endocrinologist (think that’s right) will be calling me for a consult. Doctor said both tubes will be removed, then we can do IVF.

I’m devastated, but also hopeful.

Any advice would be great!

Is the pain bad?

How did you afford IVF if your insurance doesn’t pay for it?

I have so many questions, I’m nervous but I also can not wait to start this next journey.
