Has anyone else tested positive for GBS? I just found out I tested positive today for it through my urine. I never got swabbed? I don’t know how that works and how that’s even an accurate result. I’m also allergic to Penicillin.

There are a lot of unknown answers going on right now with issues I’ve been having. Blood in my urine. Being told I have a bacterial infection and being on an antibiotic for that. Then today nurses having no idea what’s going on with me.

I’m 34 weeks tomorrow. Needless to say I bawled my eyes out at the doctor appointment today. And I am still 99% clueless with what is going on with me. No one will give me straight 100% sure answers.

Ladies, please shine some light on this. Have you had GBS? What was the outcome? What did they have you do/take for it before and during labor?
