Hello my fierce and strong women of the glow network! Really need some feedback and opinions regarding my current situation. I have had ovarian cysts 2X before 10 years ago when I had to get off the depo shot. They stopped and then about a year or two later I got back on birth control the pill.

I am now 30 and stopped brith control in Sept 2020 while my finance and I are wanting to elope and start trying right away... fast forward to Feb 2021 still have not conceived and I was hospitalized this past weekend for the worst abdomen pain which they stated there were cyst follicles in my right ovary and also some cysts on my left ovary. Not big enough to be concerned for surgery but basically the only thing I was told by my OBGYN at my follow up appointment is that I either get back on birth control or get pregnant and there’s nothing else they can do to prevent these. 😐

Now I’m not in the category of PCOS but I am just highly discouraged right now because we are supposed to go to Costa Rica (where he’s from) at the end of this month to see his family and basically I was told to start taking birth control right now to avoid having any cyst issues while I’m in Costa Rica. 😭 This is not what I want to hear and the opposite direction of where I’m wanting to go....🙏🏼 🍼 My OBGYN said it’s still too early to talk about alternatives to helping me conceive and I’m just frustrated. 😔I’m out of work for an entire week because this pain is so bad (no pain meds or anything is helping) I am using a heating pad my one saving grace. Basically I have to risk getting these cysts in order to try to conceive and potentially be out a week if the pain is that bad like it currently is...

I am questioning if I know when I ovulate as well as I think I do it later in my cycle so I got the strips to start tracking that per my OBGYN but I just want to conceive so bad I don’t have to go through these cysts.... also when you ovulate how many times do you do it in one day is 1 time enough?!

If anyone can relate or give me some advice I would be so grateful. Thank you ladies!
