Hi ladies! I just wanted to hear some others experiences with getting their cycle back after having a D&C.

I had my D&C on Dec 7th (I was 16 weeks pregnant) and then had my HcG levels tracked weekly until it was below 5. It got below 5 on Jan 13th, however I had my first period after the D&C Jan 2-8. My period was longer and heavier than usual. I was supposed to get my next period on Jan 30th and my period used to be like clockwork. When it didn’t show up, I couldn’t help but get my hopes up that maybe I was pregnant, but I took a couple tests and it’s negative. So, now I’m 3 days late and assuming that my system is still adjusting since miscarrying.

Did anyone else experience getting their first period 4-6 weeks after then the next cycle didn’t return normally?
