Abdominal ultrasound at 9 weeks?

So my first ultrasound isn’t for a few days, and I know it’s usually vaginal. My work has an ultrasound machine that I can use but it’s obviously abdominal. Would I see anything if I used it or is it still too early to see anything via an abdominal ultrasound?

Not to early. My first pregnancy was an abdominal and i was able to see her at 7w 4d!

My OBs office tried abdominal first. I was 8 weeks at the time. We could have seen something, but my uterus was tilted to the back so they switched to transvaginal and then we could see baby. She was tucked back in there.

You would be able to see baby now. With my first I was able to see her around 6 weeks and a few days

I’ve only had abdominal scans. My second was at 7 weeks and we could see baby hear the heartbeat on the scan. You’ll be good at 9 weeks with an abdominal.
