Is this normal?
Does anyone else ever pace back and forth on their phones? I’m not having an anxiety attack but I find I do this a lot. I walk around my kitchen table in many laps on my phone, walk back and forth in my living room on my phone texting, and even in my own bedroom back and forth from the door to the bed. Is this normal? Or is this a sign of anxiety? I feel like I’m genuinely an anxious person but even in times when I’m not as anxious I do it like it’s a bad habit. Sometimes I’m unaware I even do it until someone yells at me to stop. Other times I do it because I think I find it comforting? It’s like I can either lay in bed on my phone for hours or pace back and forth for hours on my phone instead of sitting for just a few minutes.
