Is it wrong?

I saw the most amazing tattoo drawing ever about 8 months ago. I really wanted to get it done, but when I looked at the actual tattoos the artist did, I was not impressed. He's not the worst tattoo artist but definitely not someone I would want putting something permanent on my body. I cannot get the design off my mind though and it's been months. Would it be wrong if I got that tattoo done by a different artist but we changed a couple things with the design so I wouldn't be like stealing his design? I feel bad but I LOVE the tattoo but there's not a chance I can get work from the original artist
