So my husband and I lived in a apartment and the landlord we had there is the same landlord we have in our new place which is a trailer. So starters I'm gonna say the apartment we moved into had bed bugs we did not know that prior to the move in and we did not have them before that either. Long story I was getting bit at the apartment and thought it was fleas because we have a cat and the apartment had carpet in all the rooms but the kitchen and bathroom. So we flea bombed because we had family coming down for Thanksgiving. Well my family got eat up in bites and so I was still getting bit and we told the landlord we thought it may be bed bugs and we wanted him to have someone come check it out because the last lady that lived in the apartment had only a mattress in the living room (landlords word's not mine) and she left her washer and dryer. Well he told us no and gave us half empty cans of spray from Walmart and told us to spray and he said if there are bed bugs in there that we brought them in which we know we didn't because we didn't have them before. So to prove we didn't and to see what it was we called an exterminator ourselves and the guy that came told us it was bed bugs and by the size of then we didn't not bring them in and there were no eggs he called the landlord and told him and he still tried to call us liars and did not want the guy coming to spray and said he would have a friend come spray. Which the only reason he had a someone at all come do it is because we threatned legal action.. Well the guy he had come do it was only putting down powder on the baseboard with a makeup brush which didn't help. So we asked to move and he had a trailer available which the only reason we moved into another place of his is because there's literally no where to rent around where I live sadly other than the place I got from him. But today he was going through our trash which he has been doing lately and there's some guys here cutting trees behind us and we told them that it was fine they were cutting trees but don't cut down our christmas looking tree because we plan to decorate it. Well the landlord told them to do it anyways and we pay for the property? Which pissed my husband and I off because its ridiculous but mostly I'm getting weirded out and sick of him showing up uninvited because anytime he comes here he never calls or anything he just shows up while my husband is working (he works from home) and he knows that and knows what time he works and interrupts him while he is working and he is always going through our trash??? Like wtf who does that? Isn't that illegal to go through someone's trash.. I'm really trying to find another place to go because I moved from my apartment to have more privacy and room for my dog and cat but I have no privacy when the landlord always shows up randomly. 🙄
