When was your first MFM appointment?

I saw my obgyn today for my first prenatal and he wants me to start seeing MFM at 12 weeks to do NT. I also have an autoimmune and am going to be 39 years old at time of birth. With my daughter almost 3.5 years ago I started seeing MFM at 18 weeks.

I’m 9 weeks and have yet to be told I need to see a MFM

My twins are DI/DI, first MFM appointment was at 21 weeks. I've been going monthly for growth scans. I wouldn't be going to MFM if our local hospital did twin ultrasounds.

I am only 11 with di/di twins and my OB says I will only be seeing them at 20 weeks for anatomy scan unless other problems arise during the pregnancy.

14 weeks then I go 18 weeks. Afterwards appointments change from monthly to biweekly

The closest MFM to me is 2 hours (120 miles) away and my OB was comfortable with my di/di twins, so I never saw an MFM (no complications or problems arose to change that).

I’m going to ask my OB at our appointment next week, just looking for timelines.
