Letrozole and Ttc?

Question

Are you supposed to have sex while on letrozole? Or are you supposed to wait due to the chance of birth defects? 
Can you tell me your stories/ experience while taking letrozole? I’m currently on day 2.

Answer

You can have sex while on Letrozole. It has a short half life, which means it doesn’t stay in your body very long. You can’t take it once implantation has happened and placenta has formed- but no doctor would prescribe this once pregnant anyways. 
Overall point: definitely okay to have sex. Letrozole is out of your system by the time it would be harmful to baby
