New puppy question?

Hi! We just got a new puppy he is 8 weeks tomorrow. My question is...
When do puppies start sleeping throughout the whole night? Or when do they stop crying at right? 
I have him right next to our bed. And when he starts to cry, I take him to do pee on his diaper pad but once he pees he just wants to play, which he plays with my hand while I’m half asleep until he then again knocks out.. he wakes up 3 times at night

Put hon outside your room, take him out every few hours to go to the bathroom, put him back, and ignore the cries. He’ll calm down in like a week or two. Least my puppy did. He’s still very young and sleeps all the way through the night already

Is he in a crate at night, don't use a pee pee mat they will get used to them take them out every so often to pee and when they pee or poop out side give them a treat
