Responding to name

Are your babies responding to their name ?

I feel like my son has selective hearing Lol sometimes he responds to his name but sometimes he ignores us .

I didn’t really worry too much about it , until I picked him up after work from my grandmas house ( who watches him once a week for a few hours ) and she said he doesn’t respond all the time unless there is a loud noise .

She tends to worry a lot about things in general but now she has me worried 😬

Our little one babbles , laughs , loves when I sing , and is trying to crawl ... I think he’s doing pretty well! By the way .. he will be 8 months in a few days
