Beard burn

I recently started dating this guy and I began to notice myself getting small pimples on my chin and nose area and it’s very rare for me to ever get pimples so I was confused to as why this is happening. I looked up causes and found that beard burn is a thing??! Any ladies have suggestions as to what I can do!? It hurts like crazy and it won’t go away):
