Does it really matter what time you take your pill as long as you’re taking it? I took my last pack at 5:30 and this pack I’m taking at 8:30 should I have anything to worry about?

You should take them at about the same time. Read your pamphlet for a better idea for your specific pills. I know a certain pill has a 12 hour window and a majority of them have an hour window of when you can take it. I personally try to take it at 7pm (or just about) every night so I don’t risk it

It depends. If you just started using birth control, then you should be taking it every day at the almost exact same time every day or else it won’t be as affective as you want it to be. It will result in late periods, irregular periods, spotting in between periods. All kinds of things. You really should be taking it at the same time every day until your body gets used to it. I’ve been on the pill 3 1/2 years now and every once in a while I end up taking my pill late, but it doesn’t seriously affect anything. Two years ago, I would have had an early period, or a late period if I was even a few hours late, but now my body just kind of is used to it if it does happen.
