BFN at 12dpo

Hey there! So my period is late by 8 days. I tested at 12 dpo, 2 days before my period was due, and got a bfn. I’m honestly scared to test again, because I don’t want it to be negative.

Has this happened to anyone else & then ended up getting a positive after??
