New car seat if girl?

So my boyfriend wants to get a new car seat if this baby is a girl but I feel like the one we had my son in is gender neutral. It’s not old I got it last year before he was born. Should I get a new “girly” car seat if it’s a girl or is this one good enough? This was him in it before he outgrew it💙

My last pregnancy was a boy and we knew we planned to have another baby soon after so I made sure I bought the expensive baby gear in gender neutral colors and theme. Our infant car seat, swing, play pen, high chair and bouncy seat are all the same color as your car seat. I definitely think Aqua is a neutral color. I will buy some “girly” smaller items if we find out it’s a girl but won’t be replacing any baby gear

I wouldn’t, if your son is already out of that seat why spend money on an infant seat again.  My baby girl was my first and hers was black and white, not girly at all.  Then we used it with my son.  I have to get a new one for number 3 because we got rid of our infant seat thinking we weren’t having more kids. 😬

Do not buy a new one, especially for an infant car seat. They are just not in it for long. I would be reusing my daughters car seat for my son if it didn’t get stolen out of my car 😩😩😩. I’m so sad I have to buy another one.

Def use that one. I have a 1 year old girl and her car seat has pink on it. I was totally prepared to use it again boy or girl for this one! Thankfully it's a girl!!

Sorry for the not so good photo my daughter doesn’t like to sit still but we reused my son car seat (pictured here). It was the opposite for me, I wanted a girly one and my SO was cool with reusing. Now I realize it’s okay if it’s not girly lol. I like the one you have though!! Super cute! But if you plan to buy another one, dont get the graco snug ride... its annoyingly heavy!

Im not ever crazy frugal but one you have literally looks so cute. I was just thinking how its an awesome neutral one. We are waiting to find out till birth but all the neutral ones I've seen are mostly black and grey etc. I love the colors in yours! Keep it! He can splash the cash out elsewhere lol

If the one you have is in good working order then don’t waste money on a new one just because of the design

I'd just reuse the old one, but I'm super frugal lol. Hubby is probably just excited about your girl. If it makes him happy and you want to get all the girly things, go for it.
