How often can I drink alcohol & nurse?

How often a week can I drink? 
I feel stressed out and I would love a beer or glass of wine before bed. I was told once a week but idk

Within reason.
As long as you're safe to hold the baby, you're safe to nurse.
 Please don't pump and dump, it's sad to see all that liquid gold needlessly go to waste.

If you can safely hold your baby than your alcohol consumption is fine. I kept mine to around 1-2 glasses when I did drink and was nursing. Occasionally, with my best girlfriend I would have more but I made sure it was right after a nursing session and in the evenings when the space between sessions was longer.

As much as you want! I would sometimes have 1 cup wine and/or beer daily. Nurse baby, drink it after then wait the ~1-3 hours to nurse again. And/or you can pump before drinking, nurse baby before the drink, and then give that 🤷🏻‍♀️ I never pumped, I just always did the nurse, drink, nurse thing

A beer or wine every night is absolutely fine as long as you aren’t getting drunk it’s not a problem

So they have these strips that you can buy, you dip it in the breast milk and it’ll let you know if it’s safe for the baby or not.

According to the CDC alcohol passes through breast milk. So you need to pump and dump for about 8 hours after you drink (unless you want to give your baby alcohol).
