Hi! I need advice. I am single mom & drop off my daughter at daycare every morning. There’s a dad that’s I’ve noticed acts a little different than the others. Things I have noticed is that if I am leaving out the door from dropping my daughter off, he will park close to me. If we are both in the lobby he will open the door for me if he’s in or if I’m on my way out. We have never spoken because there’s no time to hang around due to COVID and we have to drop the kids in & out due to other waiting to get in. When I’m dropping my daughter off, I am already in a rush to get to work (the times I am running late for work seem to be the times I run across him). I’ve never seen a mom around his little boy, so I’m wondering if he’s single. I’m a shy person so I typically don’t even approach people.

I don’t know if I should say something to him next time, but I don’t want to be awkward. I thought maybe I could ask the front desk ladies if he has a wife/gf but I don’t want to be weird. Should I just wait for him to approach me or say something to show I’m interested?
