Anyone else have a Nov2018 toddler that isn’t talking much yet?

My son only says single words when he wants to, does every animal sound on command and is very expressive with his hands and body language when trying to tell me something or describing things (walks like a robot when I show him his robot flash card but won’t say the word).

No red flags for any behavior problems or other delays, he’s a really well behaved boy. Plays very well, keeps eye contact and is very lovable.

I am concerned he hasn’t played with other children in months cause of covid but I can’t do anything about that. He’s my only child and only kid in the family so far.

Anyone else in a similar boat? I want to believe he’s just taking his time because he does understand commands and when we lay out 30+ flash cards he gets the ones I ask for so he identifies things.

Just worried as usual...
