Could lifting my two year old hurt my unborn child?

I am 19 weeks pregnant and my 2 year old throws tantrums all day long. I try to avoid picking him up when he does this, but sometimes I don’t have a choice. He is probably about 25 pounds and today I had to lift him up and sit him in timeout on the floor. Is baby ok?

Yes it’s ok just lift with your legs not your back. I pick up my 42 lb 5 year old when I have to get her in the truck.

Babies fine! I did that throughout my entire pregnancy! Baby was completely healthy

I lift my 3 year old who is 40lbd and I’m 32 weeks. If you did it before pregnancy you are fine to still do it as long as it don’t cause discomfort.

Lifting is not going to harm your baby- I still lift weights and am 24 weeks..

My almosy 3 year old is about 38lbs and im almost 34 weeks pregnant. It hurts sometimes but i have to pick her up bc im with her all day

It's ok.  Even when I had placenta previa and was on pelvic rest, they told me I could lift up to 20-25 pounds. So with no risk, it's definitely ok
