Does anyone else wish we could get a "mixed view" president?

I dont know what else to call it other than "mixed view."

For example, someone who will take good policies from all sides, and only ones that would truly help people and improve our quality of life. No more left or right parties. No more "civil war" amongst our people, but just...someone who would do what us right by the people and for the people? And I mean really and truly right for all, not just to benefit one or specific groups. You know? Someone who we all could actually agree with and learn to work together as a nation, rather than devide it?someone who could create a real balance in our economic system and set up our country to help those who need it, not just those who can afford it. But I believe it's impossible to make everyone happy at the same time and this would basically be asking for a truly "perfect human" which may not even exist. No more, well I hate both candidates, so I'll vote for who ever I hate the least. I mean, imagine being able to make a clear decision about who we want in office and not having to worry about who is lying or won't live up to their promises. Im still young, so I have a lot in life left to see and experience, but out of the few elections i was olde enough to remember, this was by far the most frightening and not even just because of our leaders,, because of our civilians as well. Radicals are on both sides and its terrifying. Politics are scary.

But I can't help but imagine a world where all of that is gone. And not just because we all suddenly share the same mind set. But because us as individuals make the conscious decision to agree with each other.

Kind of the same concept as "one common enemy to bring us together" only....back wards, one truly common good to bring us all together. As one human to another, it breaks my heart to see what we have devolved too. We turn each other away and demonize each other over opposing views and for what we believe is right, with no real way to tell what is truly right and what is truly wrong, because no matter what someone gets hurt or loses something so others may gain.

I dream of a world where that is over. A world where I won't have to warn my kids to fear cops because of their color, where I don't have to teach my kids to keep political opinions locked inside because they might get attacked for it and to avoid the poll offices. I could go on and on...

I know this is more of a hopeful dream and a case of over thinking, but is anyone on the same page? We as humans have suffered through so much, so why do we continually employ a system that continues to spin that wheele?

I don't know, I guess it's just "food for thought."
