I'm expecting my third and final baby fall 2021. The infant carseat we have was manufactured 2016, our first was born early 2017. It's been sparsely used as we live in a central townhouse in a european city (= walking distance everywhere, and if not you almost always use public transport). I know most people say infant carseats should only be used for about five years, then the quality of the plastic declines and makes it less safe. I can't find any info on the manufacturers website. We have it tight with money at the moment, baby wasn't planned. Should we buy a new carseat for the baby? We don't even own a car, but we will have to take a car home from the hospital and we do occasionally take car rides.
