Baby cries with daddy ☹️
Around 4ish months old my daughter started SCREEEAAAAMING during her bedtime bottle with my husband, even though he had always done it, to the point that I took over bedtime.
Late November he began his 7 week paternity leave and we were able to have him do bedtime again, I’m guessing because he was home full time.
He went back to work the second week of January and bedtime is starting to be a problem again, on top of her being suuuuper clingy with me. I know it’s normal at this age, but now that my husband isn’t home and I’m a SAHM it’s worse than ever.
Any advice for what to do during bedtime? We know that if we give in and I do it, it’ll only get worse. But what are we supposed to do when it gets to the point of her screaming as if she’s being tortured and she won’t drink the bottle?
EDITED TO ADD: my husband is an extremely involved parent, we are totally partners in parenthood. He plays with her, does bath time, reads books to her & everything else every single second he has available. This is solely because I’m home with my daughter and he works, therefore I spend all day with her. He wants to be able to comfort her, never “hands her off” to me because she’s crying or anything
