Sleeping on the floor

We transitioned my daughter to a toddler bed about a month ago because she was climbing/Falling out of her crib. She was also going through a major sleep regression and waking up crying several times a night after sleeping through the night for a long time.

She is sleeping through the night again, however she Is always sleeping on the floor next to the door. If I move her to the Bed she eventually just goes right back to the floor. She sleeps soundly there but it bothers me. We have carpeting but still it just feels wrong. Has anyone gone through this?
