I was talking to a friend about throwing my kid a small get together for her 4th birthday in April. Last year she didn’t have a party because her brother was born the day before. Year before that her dad deployed the day on her birthday. But anyway I was saying she loves pink so everything will be pink. My friend was saying I need to Cater to the boys that will be there and get blue things for them and blue plates I’m like no this is my daughters first ever birthday and I’m letting her decide exactly what she want and letting her be the special birthday girl. Should I also cater to the boys that will be there. My daughters doesn’t want any blue I’ve asked her and I really do want this day to be about her. She has already expressed how excited she is to have her first birthday party. Even is just 5 ppl. ( yes we are taking Covid precautions all parents must saw a negative test that was taking at least 3 days before the party)
