*TMI, blood clot thing in pic*

so my periods are irregular. i really wasn't expecting one this month as I had one last month. I started bleeding earlier today. i popped a tampon in and then my fiance decided he wanted some succy succy. so after all that, I go pee and switch my tampon for my menstrual cup. everything was fine. just now, I go pee and I passed a weird thing. it got stuck in my cup, I had to use a piece of tissue to get it out. it literally looks like an umbilical cord to me. you can see the swirly blood thing the cords do. so needless to say, I'm wigging out and thinking I was pregnant and had a miscarriage or something. i have two daughters, they were both preemies but other than that, I had normal pregnancies with them. can anyone tell me if this is normal? i am going to post anonymously and add a pic.
