I just read an article about republican members of congress refusing to go through metal detectors & 1 even attempting to bring a concealed gun into the capitol building. They've even started fining people who refuse. I'm curious what everyone else thinks about this. Personally, it makes me a little angry at how privileged & childish they are. We have children going through metal detectors every day because of school shootings, but they think it's unconstitutional to make them do the same & that it's a communist action? Then 1 of them brings a gun in, which is exactly why they need the metal detectors to begin with. I can't help but wonder, what would happen if our children acted like these "adults"?
