So I was admitted last week on Wednesday due to pulmonary embolism. I was immediately taken off my contraceptive pill, Levlen ED because they suspected that might have been the cause since all my blood tests were good. I stopped taking the pill during my last week of the active pill. I am also currently on blood thinners. My period came on Sunday 31/1/2021 and hasn’t stopped since. It has become just a but lighter but I am just concerned because my periods dont usually last this long. I don’t know if the blood thinners are contributing to this.

Also I used the pill to skip my periods sometimes so I don’t I don’t know if that is also contributing to the longer bleed.
