We don’t point or clap. Little guy has a speech delay so we’re currently in early intervention.

I would at least bring it up with your pediatrician if you haven't already. All kids are on their own schedule, but some milestones can be pretty important for a variety of reasons
Your pediatrician would know whether they should consider anything or if it's completely normal and they are just on their own schedule.
