Hand/wrist pain ache while sleeping?

This is the second time I’ve woken up because my wrists just hurt so bad like I can’t flex it, wrist hurt and I have to wait before I can put any pressure on them.. maybe it aches because I’m sleeping on it? Not sure what’s up- but of course google is suggesting it’s carpal tunnel syndrome? Apparently it’s pretty common later in pregnancy? Is anybody else experiencing this? Sleeping is already difficult, and now with this I’m just up at night trying to figure out how to get some sleep without the pain 🥺 any help is greatly appreciated!
