Anybody else’s baby hate their bassinet? I have the halo swivel bassinet

We use the pack n play downstairs during the day which has a comfier type lounge in it for her and I feel like she is just so accustomed to that that when we move her upstairs for bedtime she hates having to sleep on the hard mattress and lay completely flat on her back. Is anyone else having this issue or has had this issue? The bassinet is a pain in the ass to move up and down stairs too

I have a dockatot inside the halo. Creates a cozier environment and fits perfectly.

How old is your baby? We swaddle & wedge our son up against the side of the bassinet & he loves it

Halo makes a newborn insert—I highly recommend it! You can take it out once they outgrow it. We also put the Dockatot inside the Halo, although it’s not recommended for sleep.

Try having her take one or two naps during the day in her bassinet.

Try putting a receiving or muslin blanket under the bassinet mattress to elevate it slightly. Then slowly remove it level by level (if you want to go to flat sleeping soon). I had to for my boy for the same reason and it helped a lot.

We have the Halo. You just have to be consistent from the beginning. I don’t let my daughter sleep in her swing or in her lounger that came with the Pack n Play. I make her sleep in her bassinet at all times.
