How do you count the months?

My daughter is 8 weeks tomorrow. I can’t decide if that’s 2 months or if I should count 2 months on the 14th since she was born on the 14th? My son was born on the 1st so it was always super easy to determine his months idk why this is throwing me off 😅😅

2 months on the 14th. My son was 8 weeks 6 days when he hit 2 months! Just think about birthdays, you don’t go by 48 weeks being one year old. It’s 12 full months on the day they were born. Most months have over 4 full weeks in them.

I do months by the date he was born. So he was 1 month on the 17th of Jan and he’ll be 2 months on the 17th of Feb even though he’ll be 8 weeks on Thursday
