Push walker yes. Sit in walker no because they arent recommended due to the potential for things like hip dysplasia

2 of my kids liked it, 2 did not. The 2 who used it did learn to walk a little earlier, but that could just be coincidence that they happened to be more physically active babies and therefore liked the walker vs the walker actually teaching  them to walk. You just have to be very careful to not let them be in it for more than a few minutes at a time (not good for their hip development), and some people or older siblings like to push baby around in it, which can lead to baby getting their legs jammed.

I used a walker with my baby. I have seen that they’re ok to use sparingly if it is lowered all the way down so where baby is doing most of the walking and standing. My daughter was very uninterested in walking or even standing. Once I put her in the walker, she figured out that she liked to be able to move herself around. I felt like that sped up her interest in walking and standing a little more. She didn’t walk until 16 months. I introduced the walker around 13 months when she was still not even standing. She only ever used it about 15-30 mins for a whole week.

I’m of the school of thought that anything that changes a baby’s natural kinesiology or development isn’t a good idea. So no walkers for us.

My baby could never figure it out so it was more like an activity station for him. Kind of a waste.
