I’ve posted about my mother twice before but she just keeps at it, going harder the closer I get to pushing this baby out 😑

My SO is severely allergic to an acid in fresh fruit and I was talking to my sister and mother about how I hope my son doesn’t end up allergic to fruit, too. Well, of course my mom has some smart shit to say. she asks “Aren’t you breastfeeding?” yes. “Then your son is going to be allergic to everything anyway.”

Is it frowned upon to tell your own mother to shut the fuck up? 😅 She refuses to do any sort of research on breastfeeding because shes sooo set on her ways and thinks shes 100% correct. She’s doing the same thing to my brother’s girlfriend who is pregnant and plans on breastfeeding, too. She’s only 18 so I feel like my mom has too much influence on her but I’m hoping that if she sees me doing it then she won’t let my mom convince her not to.

Anyone else deal with this? my mom can’t be the only mother completely against breastfeeding.
