Is one child enough?

My husband and I have been trying for our second for a year and a half with no luck. Around the year mark when I made an appointment with a fertility doctor we discussed how far we wanted to take this TTC journey. We never imagined it would be this hard considering we got pregnant with our daughter after 2 cycles. We decided we didn’t want to do anything more than we are already doing to have another child- no pills, shots or anything. We are at a point where we are so in love with our daughter, we are ready to show her the world (when it reopens) and give her an amazing life since giving her a sibling isn’t something that we can give her. I will be getting my IUD put back in a few days and while I’m relieved to have that pressure of TTC off my shoulders I’m just sad.

So who here has only one child? Who only wanted one child or like me accepted they will only have one child? How do you break the stereotype of only children being spoiled brats?

Thanks 🙂
