Best forms of non-hormonal birth control?

hey girls! I’m due with my first next month, and am looking into birth control methods. I don’t want to start trying for our second for at least 2.5/3 more years, so looking for semi-permanent solutions that won’t affect my hormones or fertility for when we do start trying again. (Not interested in condoms or BC pills). From your experience, whats your favorite longer term birth control method? Pros and cons? Thanks!

I got the mirena at 8m pp because I couldn’t stand the mini pill lol.
I loved my mirena. I breast fed long term with no issues, my period didn’t come back until almost 2 years pp. when they did come back they were nice and mild - my regular period were debilitating. We didn’t want to try for baby 2 until our son was 2.5. 
When I had it removed I was on day 2 of my period so not sure what was bleeding from what or what was cramping from what lol.
I had it removed July 21, we starting trying my August cycle and we’re pregnant by October! 
I will be getting another mirena after baby 2 arrives end of June
