How much milk are you producing?

Hi ladies! I’m 11 days pp and this morning after a feed I pumped 50 ml combined. Just wondering what everyone else is able to pump and if I’m on track?

Is there a reason u are pumping so soon? If u aren’t going back to work or something then the recommendation is to wait 6-8weeks or more before pumping, as it can lead to oversupply, clogged ducts, mastitis, etc😬 your supply will be just fine if u just allow baby to nurse on demand. Trust me, u do Not want an oversupply!

It depends for me. If I try to pump right after I feed like you said then that sounds about right. But if I pump instead of feeding then I can get 5-8 ounces. I usually just breastfeed but I do pump if I have to or can’t breastfeed. 
I had to start pumping for the same reason. We were giving formula to supplement but I had to pump to help my supply until I could supplement that way. My boy had struggles with blood sugar and very high jaundice levels. He did get better and I don’t have to supplement much anymore. Good luck!
