Yesterday without notice or text my friend randomly shows up with her husband and daughter and asks my husband and I to babysit her daughter. I had a 3 hour meeting and ended up with the worst migraine. I’m also 22 weeks pregnant and we planned on working on the babies nursery.... The worst part is we have to wake up at 6am the next day for work and they didn’t pick her up till 11pm and the poor thing had school the next day. We all ended up crashing at 9:30pm and left our back door open so they could get their daughter without waking us up and our son. I would also like add that our family lives paycheck to paycheck at the moment and she didn’t provide any snacks or anything. It was our errand run day so I felt so shitty when the girl kept asking for random snacks at Walmart we only let her get one thing....

I don’t mind baby sitting but I do mind it if it’s just random and last minute. I want to talk to her about it but don’t know what to say without being confrontational.
