Senior cat

So my fiancé’s boss decided he wanted to give away his 14 year old cat. I felt so bad for him so I just had to have him. Since I’ve had him I’ve noticed he doesn’t really eat his hard food, and only really drinks water. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best food to give senior cats??
