Anyone else have an epidural go wrong ?

I got an epidural and the lady hit my nerve it shocked my whole body and I uncontrollably kicked the nurse when the dr did it she tried 3x finally got it right bit it messed my leg up I have a burning sensation in my thigh the inner and back of it ... 3 weeks PP my back was messed up too it feels a bit better but it STILL has pain that feels like it can never be taken away .. this never happened w my first epidural was fine and this lady tried saying I have bad scoliosis that's why it happened but my dr says I dont I'm thinking it was just an excuse for messing up and hitting a nerve

No advice but with my first LO the guy missed 3x also. It felt like lightning was going through my whole body. I still have back pain from it. Back strengthening yoga flows helped me out a TON. but definitely start small and don’t strain your back. 
It gave me such bad anxiety this time around I went to a hospital an hour away and had a way better experience 😂

Yes!!! With my 3rd 21 months ago. So 6 weeks ago when I had my 4th I opted to go all natural. The anesthesiologist told me that what I was experiencing she had never heard of in her 25 years experience.  She made it seem like I was lying or something. First of all, I didn’t even want an epidural but they told me they needed to at least have a line out in in case I needed to be rushed for a c-section since I was attempting a VBAC & my platelets were low. When she went to flush the line I got a sudden warm sensation down my legs (which I know can be normal) BUT the off part was that I immediately the. Had a sensation of something shooting right back up my spine to my brain followed by an immediate headache. In addition, the epidural didn’t work, AT ALL. No matter how much additional medication she added it just didn’t work. My left leg was numb for 4 days PP. so it’s almost as though all the medication went to my leg.

When I went, the dr only ended up doing half of it, so only my right leg went numb n in felt everything on my left side. They had to adjust it

Yes!! This was my 3rd baby and I’ve gotten a epidural with each one . This last one was a SHIT show !! So I was induced and they offered to give the epidural immediately after my water breaking or to wait a bit after breaking my water . I chose to do it right away because I didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get it . Well when they put in it the guy stopped and was like wait were hitting a BONE then he proceeded to wiggle to get around the bone and that was a no go needless to say we tried 3x and it took about 20-30 minutes . Worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life . I still have a lot of back pain from it 😩😩😩

Anyone else have an epidural go wrong ?
