So last night Super bowl Sunday. A friend and I went out to the casino to watch the super bowl. He was going through some things and so I was I. I chose to ignore and put what I was going through behind me and enjoy myself.

Well I thought he did too. Until I noticed him drinking heavy. He was drinking multiple “Long Island ice tea” and I don’t drink so idk what that was. I had cranberry juice (poor quality to be honest” anyways.

So he clearly is drunk as hell. He goes and buys himself a double shot of Hennessy after I told him to stop f🤬 drinking. He kept going behind me and drinking. Long story short a few minutes before the game ended a random man came over to me and said “your friend is really drunk he’s going to get kicked out if he falls” I said what? (I hadn’t been to the casino since 2014 when I worked there as a cocktail server) anyway. So I’m like “ok” so he comes back over to me and I tell him to sit down and get himself together or I won’t be his friend anymore. He says “why? I’m ok look” and he picks up a chair and tosses it.. by this time I am literally embarrassed. I don’t go out in the first place so for me to be with someone who is literally that sloppy drunk is embarrassing as hell so I take him outside he unlocks the car. I get into the drivers side and he starts to try to grab me and remove me from the car saying he’s going to drive. I told him no! I told him he was too drunk to drive and that the only way I’m leaving with him is if I drive. He pushed me from the drivers side to the passenger. At that point someone walks over and says “no let her drive” I said “he literally just pushed me into the passenger seat” the man again tells him he cannot drive. He still cuts the car on (push button) I cut it off. He cuts it back on I cut it off he tells me “I’m getting mad you’re p🤬 me off” I say well I’m not riding with you so either you let me drive or I’m getting an Uber. He starts saying “I do this all the time everyday I can get to your house fine watch I’ll meet you there” I said nope. I’m not watching. And I walk towards the casino. He tries to drive himself to where I was which there were poles blocking it and he drove into one. A guy seen me and asked me where the man was I was with. I said trying to drive home. He said “go sit in my car” and cuts it on I go sit in the car (yes he’s a stranger but he was also standing next to my cousin & a guy that once dated my older sister when he said it) so I sat in his car. He walked over to my friend and told him “you need to get an Uber or let me drive you home. My friend literally does a burn out in a f🤬 Jeep Compass and speeds off. He didn’t even know I got into the mans car nothing!! After that the man gets in the car and says “we’re do you libel I told him he takes me home. (After a series of weird events like his cousin getting pulled over and I have to go and get the car from the police and drive his cousin(I knew his cousin) home and the guy who was originally taking me home followed us.) but I got home safe and I called my friend to see if he was ok. No answer I texted him no response I checked the jail website. DUI, Gun and drug charges. I didn’t even know he had drugs or a gun on him I just knew he was drunk.

Now the next morning I get ahold of a girl who was his “girlfriend” to tell her that the rental car that’s in her dads name more than likely got towed and she’s going to have to notify enterprise. She gets all disrespectful with me because she assumes I’m dealing with him and I never was we’ve only been friends for about 6 years. I stop responding to her then she texts me and says that he said I had his winning tickets from when he bet on the game. I do not. So now this man who claimed to be my friend not only left me at a casino in another town in the cold and dark. Is now accusing me of stealing his money. Am I the asshole for not riding with him? I don’t think I was in the wrong he was playing with my life.
