Hi all!! I recently (Feb 1) got my Mirena removed after having it for almost 5 years. I got it removed one day before my period would typically start (I had really light spotting in place of a full on period with my IUD in). It’s now been one week since removal of the IUD and every single day since the removal I have been bleeding extremely heavily. Like, we’re talking bleeding through a S+ in less than an hour, which is something that did not happen before I got my IUD. I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience or if I should talk to my doctor? Thanks!!
