Question

Have any of you ladies gotten the depo birth control shot? I feel so incredibly bloated and puffy. Have you had any side effects? How long before the weight gain goes away? My pants are tight lol

I’ve had the shot before. Never gained any weight. One side effect was having my period for an entire month before the next dose. After the second dose I stopped. I also became extra moody and emotional.

I was on depo from Dec/16 to April 2020. 
The first week was absolutely horrible for me!! Night sweats that would wake me up in the middle of the night, mood swings. ( I was like a ticking bomb, my family kept their distance for the first month )
Definitely had an appetite increase & gained some weight but lost it all again after coming off. 
Spotted for 3 days before my next shot.
Never really had an issues, period is more regular now then it ever has been before.
Downside / Haven’t had a positive test yet 😭
