Birth Control Problems for a teen

So I'm about to be 16 in a few days and I want to ask my parents if I can go on birth control to be safe just in case but how would go about doing it? because their hard to about this stuff and they will probably just jump to the conclusion that I'm having sex. And which one do you recommend?
